Ear Training And Sight-Reading Lessons
Hear it, name it, then play it at sight.
A More Personal Way to Train Your Ears and Eyes
Ear training and sight-reading develop the skills that let you respond to music in real time. Each lesson moves through interval recognition, melodic dictation, and rhythmic reading, with exercises chosen to match your current level. You will hear patterns before you see them on the page, which makes unfamiliar scores far less intimidating.
Sessions combine short drills with applied reading from real repertoire, so every exercise has a musical purpose. I listen closely to where you hesitate and adjust the next task to address it. Over time, progress becomes measurable and the gap between what you hear and what you play begins to close.
Ideal For
Instrumentalists and vocalists preparing for ensemble or accompanying work
Students preparing for auditions, exams, or conservatory entrance tests
Adult learners who want to read music more confidently
Singers developing pitch accuracy and internal hearing
How It Works
Assessment: We start with a short diagnostic to map your current strengths and gaps.
Guided Practice: Each session pairs targeted dictation or reading drills with excerpts from your repertoire.
Progress Review: Every few weeks we revisit earlier exercises to confirm skills are holding under pressure.

About
We built The Classical Musicians Network as a home for everyone in the classical music world, from performers and conductors to administrators, educators, and listeners. Our goal is simple: give people a place to connect, share experiences, exchange information, and find inspiration in one another's work.
Through shared stories, featured conversations with conductors, and celebrations of artists both on and off the stage, we aim to amplify voices that deserve a wider audience. We believe classical music is for everyone, and this community is where that belief comes to life every day.
